What is a Tournament Ticket?

It’s a cash-equivalent ticket that gives you entry to a specific Poker tournament.

How do I get Tournament Tickets?

You can earn them as a tournament payout, a tournament bonus or through a promotional offer. If you qualify for a promotion, you’ll get a Tournament Ticket that gives you entry to that event. If you play in a Qualifier and win a Tournament Ticket you can use it to enter the next round.

Example: You win the $100K Cheap Seat Tournament and get a Tournament Ticket that buys you entry to the next round, the $100K Semifinal. You win the Semifinal and get a new Tournament Ticket for entry to the $100K Guaranteed Tournament.

How will I know I've won a Tournament Ticket?

Check your account for issued Tournament Tickets using your Poker software. Click ‘Account’ and then ‘Tournament Tickets’.

How do I use my Tournament Ticket to buy into a tournament?

In the Lobby, select ‘Scheduled Tournaments’. Tournaments that accept tickets will be identified with a symbol. Click on ‘Register’ if you want to enter. You’ll get a message confirming your request to register using a Tournament Ticket. Click ‘Register’ again to confirm your registration.

Use your Tournament Tickets before they expire. Tickets won through Qualifiers (Last Chance, Cheap Seats, Quarterfinals, and Semifinals) expire 3 months after the issue date. Tickets awarded for a specified promotional tournament expire when the tournament starts, unless stated otherwise.If you have a Tournament Ticket for a specific tournament, you’ll need to cash in the ticket before using cash or Poker Points.

Can I win more than 1 Tournament Ticket to the same event?

Yes, and you can use both of them. For example, win 2 tickets for the $100K Guaranteed, and use them any time you like. Tournament Tickets won through qualifying events expire 90 days after being issued (promotional events excluded), so the ticket with the earliest expiry date will automatically be used first.

Can I convert Tournament Tickets to Cash?

No. Tournament tickets cannot be converted to cash.

Can I give my Tournament Tickets to someone else?

No. Tournament tickets are non-transferable.

Can I buy-in buy by topping up my Tournament Tickets with cash?

No, but you can use a combination of points and cash for some tournaments. Tournament tickets however cannot be combined with cash or Poker Points.

Can I get my Tournament Ticket back if I decide to unregister from a tournament?

Yes. Here’s how: click on ‘Unregister’. A message will pop up that confirms that you are no longer registered in the tournament. Your ticket will reappear in your account and you will be able to use it again at a later date.
